WITHOUT A DOUBT – EVENTS AND PARTIES AT MAGIC CITY ROCK GYM, WELL, ROCK!

Birthday Parties

Your two (2) hour and 45 minute reservation includes 90 fun-filled minutes of climbing with our auto-belay systems located throughout the gym, and 75 minutes to use our party area to serve food and drinks (food and drinks are not provided, no alcoholic beverages are permitted).

Minimum weight for children to climb walls is 35 lbs.

Reservation Details: Must be made at least 2 weeks in advance of desired date or a rush fee of $50 may apply. 

Minimum 10 climbers. Price per climber is $20 per child under 14 or $26 per climber 14 and older.

$50 deposit is required at reservation time in person or by phone. Party organizer will be emailed a printable copy of our waiver form which must be completed for all entrants to the facility, climbing or not. Deposit will go toward payment on the day of the party following a final headcount of the climbers, or may be forfeit if the party area is left unclean.

Call to schedule your birthday party for either of the following time slots:

Saturday or Sunday | 12pm or 3pm

Team Events

Team Events may be done as a fun day to climb with no particular theme, similar to the way birthday parties or described above, or we can assist you in splitting your group into teams for a 90 minute internal climbing competition! You choose whether you’d like to do this with auto-belay climbing or bouldering. Award certificates will be provided with Magic City Rock Gym branding for the winning team as well as the opposition for participation to commemorate the event.

Deposit will go toward payment on the day of the party following a final headcount of the climbers, or may be forfeit if the upstairs party area is left unclean.

We have a little more flexibility with scheduling team events with the exception of our busier nights. Call ahead or inquire with Front Desk staff for details!

Summer Camps, Field Trips, or Youth Groups

Special pricing is available for large groups of children involved in summer camps, public or private schools, scout troops, or other youth oriented organizations. Tax exempt groups should email a copy of their tax exemption letter – the appropriate email address will be provided at reservation time.

Reservation Details: Must be made at least 2 weeks in advance of desired date or a rush fee of $50 may apply.

Minimum 25 climbers. $15 per climber in group, whether child participant or adult counselors or chaperones who may wish to participate.

$50 deposit is required at reservation time in person or by phone. Event organizer will be emailed a printable copy of our waiver form which must be completed for all entrants to the facility, climbing or not. Deposit will go toward payment on the day of the party following a final headcount of the climbers, or may be forfeit if the upstairs party area is left unclean.

Facility Waiver

EVERYONE entering our facility must complete a waiver whether climbing or not.
No exceptions. Climbers under 16 must always be accompanied by an adult.
